Question 1

Is the Volvo XC40 big enough for a family?

Accepted Answer

For a family with young children, yes: the rear seats take two adults comfortably and the boot has a split, adjustable floor. Families who need more room usually step up to the XC60.

Question 2

Does every Volvo XC40 have all-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

No. The three-cylinder T3, the plug-in hybrids and the B3 drive the front wheels only. AWD was offered on stronger versions such as the D4, T5 and B4 and on the twin-motor electric car.

Question 3

What is the difference between the Volvo XC40 and the C40?

Accepted Answer

The C40 shares the XC40's platform and electric drive but has a lower, sloping coupé roofline. It was sold only as an electric car, while the XC40 also comes with combustion engines.

Question 4

Which versions does the new Volvo XC40 come in?

Accepted Answer

The new XC40 comes as the B3 mild hybrid with 163 hp and the B4 mild hybrid with 197 hp, both petrol with an automatic, in trims from Essential and Core up to Ultra, at list price beside the used cars.
