Question 1

Which used VW T-Roc is the best buy?

Accepted Answer

The 1.5 TSI with 150 hp is the balanced everyday choice. For winter and mountain roads, a 2.0 TSI or 2.0 TDI with 4Motion is worth the extra cost, and cars from the 2022 update have a noticeably better-finished cabin.

Question 2

What changed with the 2022 VW T-Roc facelift?

Accepted Answer

The dashboard gained soft-touch materials and a free-standing touchscreen, the lights were redesigned and digital instruments became standard. The engines stayed largely the same.

Question 3

What should I check on a used VW T-Roc 4Motion?

Accepted Answer

That the all-wheel-drive coupling had its oil changed on schedule, which the service book should show, and that it pulls away cleanly on full lock without knocking. Most 4Motion versions have DSG, so test that too.

Question 4

Which versions does the new VW T-Roc come in, in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The second-generation T-Roc comes as a 1.5 eTSI mild hybrid with 116 or 150 hp, a 1.5 TSI full hybrid with 136 or 170 hp and a 2.0 eTSI with 204 hp and 4Motion, all automatic, at list price beside the used cars.
