Question 1

Does the VW T-Cross have all-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

No, every T-Cross drives its front wheels only; Volkswagen never offered 4Motion on it. On snowy Swiss mountain roads good winter tyres matter all the more, or the larger T-Roc offers 4Motion.

Question 2

Which engine is best in a used VW T-Cross?

Accepted Answer

The 1.0 TSI three-cylinder with 110 to 116 hp suits most drivers and is economical. The 1.5 TSI with 150 hp is quieter on the motorway and stronger on passes; the 1.6 TDI diesel was dropped early, so few exist.

Question 3

What changed with the 2024 VW T-Cross update?

Accepted Answer

The facelift brought new lights front and rear, a soft-touch dashboard and a free-standing touchscreen, with digital instruments as standard. The engines stayed the 1.0 and 1.5 TSI.

Question 4

Which versions does the new VW T-Cross come in, in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The new T-Cross comes with the 1.0 TSI of 95 hp and a manual gearbox, the 1.0 TSI of 116 hp with DSG and the 1.5 TSI of 150 hp with DSG, in Trend, Life, Style and R-Line trims, at list price beside the used cars.
