Is the VW ID.3 a saloon or a hatchback?

It is a five-door compact with a tailgate, about the length of a Golf. Electric drive and a flat floor give it the rear room of a larger car.

How big is the boot of a VW ID.3?

385 litres with the rear seats up, about the same as a Golf hatchback. There is no storage under the bonnet, so the charging cables travel in the boot.

Is the VW ID.3 roomy enough for a family?

For a family of four, yes: the rear seat has room for adults and the floor is flat. For prams and holiday luggage the boot is the limit, so bigger families often look at an estate or an SUV.
