Question 1

Which used Skoda Octavia is the best buy?

Accepted Answer

An Octavia 3 after the 2017 facelift with the 1.5 TSI or 2.0 TDI is mature and good value. The Octavia 4 adds more assistance systems, digital controls and mild-hybrid options.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Skoda Octavia 3 and Octavia 4?

Accepted Answer

The Octavia 4, from 2020, has a new interior with a large touchscreen, more driver assistance and mild-hybrid and plug-in drivetrains. Space and boot size remain among the best in its class.

Question 3

Is a used Skoda Octavia RS a good buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if it was serviced properly: the RS with the 2.0 TSI is the quicker one, the RS TDI the more economical. Check the tyres and brakes, which wear faster on a car driven hard.
