Question 1

Is the 1.5 TSI enough for a Skoda Kodiaq?

Accepted Answer

For everyday driving, yes: the 150 hp 1.5 TSI pulls the Kodiaq adequately. With all seven seats in use, a trailer or regular mountain passes, the 2.0 TSI with 4x4 is more relaxed.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TSI 4x4?

Accepted Answer

That the DSG and the 4x4 clutch had their oil changed on schedule, which the service book shows. On a test drive the gearbox should pull away and shift without jerks.

Question 3

Which Skoda Kodiaq RS has a petrol engine?

Accepted Answer

The RS built from the 2021 facelift, with a 245 hp 2.0 TSI; the earlier RS was a twin-turbo diesel. The current RS has 265 hp.

Question 4

Which petrol versions does the new Skoda Kodiaq come in?

Accepted Answer

The new Kodiaq comes as a 150 hp 1.5 TSI mild hybrid, as a 204 hp 2.0 TSI 4x4 in Selection and Sportline trims and as the 265 hp RS 4x4, all with DSG, at list price beside the used cars.
