Question 1

What should I check on a used Porsche E-Hybrid?

Accepted Answer

The state of the high-voltage battery, ideally with a report from a Porsche workshop, and whether the charging cables come with the car. A Cayenne or Panamera that was rarely plugged in has run mostly on its petrol engine.

Question 2

Do Porsche plug-in hybrids pay less car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

In some cantons. Nidwalden halves a hybrid's tax, Fribourg takes 15% off, and Aargau counts a plug-in hybrid 10% lighter and 15% less powerful; many others tax it like a petrol car.

Question 3

Which Porsche models were sold as hybrids?

Accepted Answer

The Cayenne and the Panamera, first as full hybrids around 2010 and then as plug-in E-Hybrids, plus the 918 Spyder supercar. The Cayenne Coupé added E-Hybrid versions of its own.

Question 4

Which new Porsche hybrids are on sale in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The Cayenne, the Cayenne Coupé and the Panamera, each as a plug-in E-Hybrid in several power levels. All of them pair the petrol engine and electric motor with an automatic gearbox.
