Question 1

What should I check on a used Peugeot 5008 with the 1.2 PureTech?

Accepted Answer

Whether the timing belt, which runs in oil, has been checked and replaced on schedule. A worn belt on this engine can shed debris and starve the engine of oil pressure, so the service record matters.

Question 2

Does the Peugeot 5008 have seven seats?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every 5008 since 2017 seats seven, with the third row folding into the boot floor. The rearmost seats suit children best, while the second row has room for adults.

Question 3

Is there a four-wheel-drive Peugeot 5008?

Accepted Answer

The second generation was front-wheel drive only, with optional Grip Control for snow and mud. All-wheel drive arrived with the third generation's dual-motor electric version.

Question 4

Which versions does the new Peugeot 5008 come in?

Accepted Answer

The new 5008 comes as a 145 hp hybrid, a 225 hp plug-in hybrid and an electric with 210, 230 or 325 hp, the last with all-wheel drive. All are automatic, in Allure, GT and GT Exclusive trims.
