Question 1

What should I check on a used Peugeot 2008 with the 1.2 PureTech?

Accepted Answer

Whether the timing belt, which runs in oil, was checked and replaced on schedule with the right oil. A worn belt can shed debris into the sump and cut oil pressure, so a full service record matters.

Question 2

What range does a used Peugeot e-2008 have?

Accepted Answer

Early e-2008s have 136 hp and a 50 kWh battery; with the 2023 facelift a 156 hp version with a larger battery joined. Real range depends on the battery's health and on winter cold, so ask for a battery report.

Question 3

Does the Peugeot 2008 have four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

No, every 2008 drives its front wheels. Grip Control, offered on both generations, adapts the traction control to snow, mud or sand, and works best with all-season or winter tyres.

Question 4

Which versions does the new Peugeot 2008 come in?

Accepted Answer

The new 2008 is sold in Switzerland as an electric car with 156 hp and a 54 kWh battery, or as a Hybrid with 110 or 145 hp and an automatic gearbox, in Style, Allure and GT trims.
