What is the difference between the Opel Insignia and the Insignia Grand Sport?

The Grand Sport, from 2017, is the second generation: lighter, with a longer wheelbase and newer assistance systems. The first Insignia, from 2008 to 2017, came as a four-door saloon and a five-door hatchback.

Which Opel Insignia has four-wheel drive?

Both generations offered 4x4 with the stronger engines. On the Grand Sport it uses a twin-clutch rear axle that can send power to each rear wheel separately, as on the GSi.

Is a used Opel Insignia a good car for long distances?

Yes, it is roomy and comfortable on the motorway, with a large boot. The diesels suit high mileages, while a petrol suits drivers who mostly cover short trips.
