Question 1

Should I choose a three-door or five-door used Opel Corsa?

Accepted Answer

A five-door is easier with child seats and rear passengers, while the three-door Corsa D and E has longer doors and a sportier roof. From the Corsa F onwards only five-door cars exist.

Question 2

How big is the boot of an Opel Corsa?

Accepted Answer

Enough for a weekly shop or two cabin cases, with a split rear seat that folds for more. The Corsa F's boot is a little larger than the Corsa E's.

Question 3

Is a used Opel Corsa good for winter driving in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It is front-wheel drive only, with no 4x4 version, so on mountain roads good winter tyres and, where signs require them, snow chains do the work. Its small size makes it easy to park in old town centres.

Question 4

Which engines does a used Opel Corsa saloon have?

Accepted Answer

Mostly petrol, from 1.2 and 1.4 engines without a turbo to the 1.0 and 1.2 Turbo, plus the 1.3 CDTI and 1.5 diesels and the electric Corsa-e. The diesels suit long commutes better than town use.
