From 2018 the 1.3 DIG-T also came with a seven-speed dual-clutch, and the e-Power from 2022 has no gearbox to shift at all, just an electric motor.

Is the Xtronic CVT in the Nissan Qashqai reliable?

It works well when its fluid has been changed on schedule. On a test drive it should pull away without judder and without a loud whine under acceleration.

What is the difference between Xtronic and DCT on the Nissan Qashqai?

Xtronic is a continuously variable transmission with no fixed gears, and very smooth. The seven-speed DCT on the 1.3 DIG-T of 2018 to 2021 shifts real gears like a manual, only faster.

Can you get a Nissan Qashqai automatic with 4x4?

Yes, on the current generation four-wheel drive comes with the 1.3 mild hybrid and Xtronic. The e-Power drives only the front wheels.

Which automatic versions does the new Nissan Qashqai have?

Every new Qashqai is automatic: the 1.3 mild hybrid with 158 hp and Xtronic, front- or four-wheel drive, and the 205 hp e-Power with its electric drive, at list price beside the used cars.
