Question 1

Which engines does the new Volvo XC60 have?

Accepted Answer

The B5 AWD mild hybrid with 250 hp, the T6 AWD plug-in hybrid with 357 hp and the T8 AWD plug-in hybrid with 461 hp. All are petrol-based, with all-wheel drive and an automatic.

Question 2

What do the Core, Plus and Ultra trims add on the Volvo XC60?

Accepted Answer

Core is the base, Plus adds comfort and equipment, and Ultra is the top trim, with the Ultra Black Edition setting it off in black details. Each version shows its exact equipment.

Question 3

Does a Volvo XC60 plug-in hybrid pay less car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the canton. Aargau counts 10% less weight and 15% less power for a plug-in hybrid, Fribourg takes 15% off a hybrid and Nidwalden halves it, while many cantons give no rebate.

Question 4

Should I buy a new Volvo XC60 or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new XC60 brings the full factory warranty and the latest software and safety systems. A young used one has already lost much of its value and often shares the same drivetrains.
