Question 1

Which engines does the new VW Caddy have?

Accepted Answer

A 1.5 TSI petrol with 116 PS, a 2.0 TDI with 102 PS and a manual gearbox or 122 PS with DSG, and the 1.5 eHybrid plug-in with 150 PS. The eHybrid's 20 kWh battery gives about 115 to 118 km of electric range.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Caddy Trend, Life and Style?

Accepted Answer

They are the equipment lines, with Style the best-equipped, and each comes in standard length or as the longer Maxi. Every version shows its exact equipment beside its list price.

Question 3

What is the VW Caddy California?

Accepted Answer

A compact camper built on the Caddy, with a bed that folds out in the back, also offered on the longer Maxi. It comes with the 116 PS 1.5 TSI or the 122 PS 2.0 TDI, both with DSG.

Question 4

Should I buy a new VW Caddy or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Caddy brings the full factory warranty and the current engines, the eHybrid included, and its first MFK is five years away. A used one costs less, as the steepest depreciation is behind it.
