Question 1

Which engine does the new Suzuki Vitara have?

Accepted Answer

A 1.4 Boosterjet turbo petrol with a 48-volt mild hybrid and 110 hp. It comes with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Question 2

Is the new Suzuki Vitara four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every version sold in Switzerland has AllGrip four-wheel drive, with driving modes for snow and a lock for slippery ground. There is no low range, so it is made for winter roads rather than heavy off-roading.

Question 3

What do the new Suzuki Vitara's trims add?

Accepted Answer

Compact Plus is the starting point, Compact Top adds more comfort and driver-assistance equipment, and Black Edition Top gives the top trim a dark styling package. Each version lists its own equipment.

Question 4

Should I buy a new Suzuki Vitara or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Vitara brings the factory warranty and the current mild-hybrid engine. A used one of the same generation costs less, as the steepest depreciation is behind it, but may have an older engine without the hybrid.
