Question 1

Which versions does the new Skoda Enyaq come in?

Accepted Answer

The 85 with 286 PS and rear-wheel drive, the 85x with 299 PS and all-wheel drive, and the RS with 340 PS, also all-wheel drive. Each uses the 82 kWh battery.

Question 2

What range does the new Skoda Enyaq have?

Accepted Answer

The versions on sale are rated at roughly 560 to 580 km on the WLTP cycle. The RS, the most powerful, has the shortest range.

Question 3

Does a new Skoda Enyaq pay car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the canton: Zürich and Solothurn exempt electric cars, Vaud does for the first 24 months, and others give a rebate or tax them in full. The 4% automobile tax is already in the list price.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or a used Skoda Enyaq?

Accepted Answer

A new Enyaq brings the full factory warranty and the current 85 drive with more power than the early versions. A used one has already lost much of its value, but check its battery's state of health.
