Question 1

Which engines does the new SEAT Leon have?

Accepted Answer

The 1.5 eTSI petrol with 48-volt mild-hybrid help, at 115 or 150 hp, and the 1.5 e-Hybrid plug-in with 205 hp. The Sportstourer adds a 2.0 TDI diesel with 150 hp, and every version shifts with a DSG.

Question 2

How far does the new SEAT Leon e-Hybrid go on electricity?

Accepted Answer

Around 130 km in the WLTP cycle, for the hatchback and the Sportstourer alike, thanks to the larger battery of the 2024 update. Real-world range is shorter in winter and on the motorway.

Question 3

What is the difference between the SEAT Leon Style and FR?

Accepted Answer

Style is the comfort-oriented trim, FR the sportier one, with its own bumpers, sports seats and a sportier chassis set-up. Each version's exact equipment is listed with its price.

Question 4

Does a new SEAT Leon e-Hybrid pay less car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the canton: some reduce the tax on hybrids, such as Nidwalden and Obwalden, while others tax them like any petrol car. The automobile tax is already included in the list price.

Question 5

Should I buy a new or a used SEAT Leon?

Accepted Answer

A new Leon brings the factory warranty and the longer-range e-Hybrid of the 2024 update, but loses most value in its first years. A used fourth-generation Leon from 2020 shares the same platform at a lower price.
