Question 1

Which engines does the new SEAT Ibiza have?

Accepted Answer

The three-cylinder 1.0 EcoTSI with 115 hp, with a manual gearbox or DSG, and the four-cylinder 1.5 EcoTSI with 150 hp and DSG. There is no diesel, hybrid or electric Ibiza.

Question 2

What is the difference between the SEAT Ibiza Style and FR?

Accepted Answer

Style is the comfort-oriented trim, FR the sportier one with its own styling, and the 150 hp 1.5 EcoTSI comes only as an FR. Each version lists its exact equipment.

Question 3

Should I buy a new SEAT Ibiza or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Ibiza brings the full factory warranty and the equipment you choose. A young used one costs less, as most depreciation happens in the first years, and often has the same engines.

Question 4

How much car tax does a new SEAT Ibiza pay in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your canton, which taxes engine size, weight, power or CO₂. The automobile tax charged on new cars is already included in the list price.
