Question 1

Which engines does the new Porsche Cayenne come with?

Accepted Answer

Three kinds: petrol, with the 353 hp V6 in the Cayenne and V8s of 474 hp in the S and 500 hp in the GTS; plug-in hybrids, from 470 hp in the E-Hybrid to 739 hp in the Turbo E-Hybrid; and the all-electric Cayenne, S and Turbo Electric.

Question 2

How far does the electric Porsche Cayenne go on a charge?

Accepted Answer

All three versions carry a 113 kWh battery and cover 620 to 650 km on the WLTP cycle. Power runs from 442 hp to 1,156 hp in the Turbo Electric.

Question 3

How far does the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid drive on electricity?

Accepted Answer

Every E-Hybrid has a 26 kWh battery, good for roughly 72 to 77 km of WLTP electric range. That covers most daily commutes without starting the engine.

Question 4

Is a new or a used Porsche Cayenne better value in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

A new Cayenne brings the factory warranty and the exact specification you order, and the automobile tax is already in its list price. A used one has taken the steepest depreciation of its first years, and a change of owner in Switzerland is not taxed.

Question 5

Does an electric Porsche Cayenne pay cantonal car tax?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the canton. Zürich, Solothurn and Glarus exempt electric cars, while Geneva adds a surcharge by empty weight that is highest above 2,600 kg.
