Question 1

Which new Peugeot models are sold in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The 208 and 2008, the 308 hatchback and SW estate, the 408 fastback, the 3008 and 5008 SUVs, and the Rifter and Traveller for families and businesses. Each comes in several trims and drives.

Question 2

Which electric Peugeot has the longest range?

Accepted Answer

The E-3008 and E-5008 Long Range with 230 PS, rated at around 700 km on the WLTP cycle. The E-208, E-2008 and E-Rifter have smaller batteries and suit shorter daily trips.

Question 3

What do Peugeot's Style, Allure, GT and GT Exclusive trims mean?

Accepted Answer

Style and Allure are the lower trims, depending on the model, and GT adds a sportier look and more equipment. GT Exclusive, offered on the 408, 3008 and 5008, tops the range.

Question 4

Should I buy a new or a used Peugeot in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

A new Peugeot brings the factory warranty and the current hybrid and electric drives. A used one costs less after the first years' depreciation, but older petrol models often carry the 1.2 PureTech, whose timing belt needs watching.
