Question 1

Which engines does the new Peugeot 308 have?

Accepted Answer

A 130 hp BlueHDi diesel, a 145 hp 48V mild hybrid, a 195 hp plug-in hybrid with up to 87 km of electric range, and a 156 hp electric motor with up to 462 km. All are automatic.

Question 2

Is there a new Peugeot 308 estate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 308 SW comes with the same drivetrains and trims as the hatchback, with a longer body and more load space.

Question 3

Does a new electric Peugeot 308 pay car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your canton: Zürich, Solothurn and Glarus exempt electric cars, Bern and Lucerne give a rebate, and others tax them in full. The automobile tax is already in the list price.

Question 4

New or used Peugeot 308: which is the better buy?

Accepted Answer

A new 308 brings the factory warranty and the latest hybrid and electric drivetrains. A used one has already lost its steepest depreciation, and second-generation cars from 2013 to 2021 cost much less.
