Question 1

Which engines does the new Range Rover Sport have?

Accepted Answer

Mild-hybrid diesels with 250, 300 or 350 hp, mild-hybrid petrols with 380 or 540 hp, and the P460e and P550e plug-in hybrids with a 32 kWh battery. The electric EV450 and EV550 carry a 118.5 kWh battery.

Question 2

What do the Range Rover Sport's trims add?

Accepted Answer

The range steps up from S and SE through Dynamic SE and Dynamic HSE to Autobiography, with special series such as the Battersea, Twenty and First Edition. Not every engine comes in every trim, so each version shows its own equipment.

Question 3

Does an electric Range Rover Sport pay car tax in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

That depends on your canton. Zürich, Solothurn and Glarus exempt electric cars, several cantons give a rebate, and cantons such as Schwyz tax them like any car. The 4% automobile tax is already in the list price.

Question 4

Should I buy a new Range Rover Sport or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new one brings the full factory warranty, the plug-in and electric versions and the specification you choose, but loses most value in its first years. A young used one has already taken that loss and costs much less.
