Is the new Ford Puma a hybrid?

It is a mild hybrid: a 1.0 EcoBoost three-cylinder with a small electric helper, at 125, 155 or 160 hp in the ST. It never plugs in and cannot drive on electricity alone.

Can you still buy a new Ford with a manual gearbox?

Yes, the Puma with 125 hp, the Kuga with 150 hp, the Tourneo Courier, the Tourneo Connect and the Mustang V8 are all offered with a manual. The rest are automatic.

Which engine does the new Ford Mustang have in Switzerland?

A 5.0 V8 with 446 hp in the GT or 453 hp in the Dark Horse, with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic.

Does a Mustang V8 cost much in car tax in Switzerland?

It depends on the canton's basis. Cantons that tax displacement, such as Solothurn or Valais, charge a 5.0 V8 far more than a small Puma; cantons taxing weight alone narrow the gap.
