Question 1

Which models does Audi sell new in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The A3, A5 and A6 in their body styles, the Q3, Q5, Q7 and Q8 SUVs, the S and RS models, and the electric A2 e-tron, Q4, Q6, A6 e-tron and e-tron GT. The A5 now takes the place of the former A4.

Question 2

Does every new Audi have quattro?

Accepted Answer

No. Every Q5, Q7 and Q8 with a combustion engine or hybrid has quattro, but the A3, the Q3 with 150 hp or as an e-hybrid and some A5 versions drive the front wheels. On the electric models, quattro marks the dual-motor versions.

Question 3

How much does it cost to register a new Audi in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The 4% automobile tax is already in the list price, and a dealer's price includes 8.1% VAT. Your canton's road traffic office adds its fees for the Fahrzeugausweis and plates, and the annual car tax follows.

Question 4

Should I buy a new Audi or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new Audi brings the full factory warranty and the specification you choose, but loses most value in its first years. A young used Audi costs less and often keeps part of its warranty.
