Question 1

Which engines does the new Audi A6 have?

Accepted Answer

TDI diesels with 204 or 299 PS, a TFSI petrol with 367 PS, and e-hybrid plug-ins with 299 or 367 PS and a 21 kWh battery, all with quattro and S tronic.

Question 2

What is the difference between the new Audi A6 and the A6 e-tron?

Accepted Answer

The A6 e-tron is fully electric and built on a separate platform, while the A6 keeps combustion engines and plug-in hybrids. They share the name and a similar look.

Question 3

Should I buy a new Audi A6 or a used one?

Accepted Answer

A new A6 brings the factory warranty and the current generation. A young used A6 costs much less, as large saloons and estates lose a big share of their value in their first years.

Question 4

How much car tax does a new Audi A6 pay in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the canton: some tax weight, others power, displacement or CO₂. A plug-in hybrid gets a reduction in some cantons, such as Aargau and Fribourg.
