Question 1

What is the difference between the Mitsubishi ASX and Eclipse Cross?

Accepted Answer

The first ASX, from 2010, is the smaller and simpler SUV, with petrol and diesel engines. The Eclipse Cross, from 2018, is a little larger and more modern, with a 1.5 turbo petrol and later a plug-in hybrid.

Question 2

Is a used Mitsubishi Pajero still a good off-roader?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for those who really leave the road: its Super Select four-wheel drive has a low range, which most SUVs lack. It is heavy and thirsty, so it costs more in cantons that tax weight or CO₂.

Question 3

Which used Mitsubishi SUV is best for a Swiss winter?

Accepted Answer

The Outlander PHEV, with an electric motor on each axle, and the four-wheel-drive Eclipse Cross, ASX and Pajero. Check that a 4WD version is really fitted: the ASX and Eclipse Cross were also sold with front-wheel drive.

Question 4

Which new Mitsubishi SUVs are on sale in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The ASX with petrol, mild hybrid or full hybrid engines, the Outlander as a 306 hp plug-in hybrid with a 23 kWh battery, and the Eclipse Cross, now an electric SUV with 220 hp and an 87 kWh battery.
