Question 1

Does the Kia warranty pass to the next owner of a used Ceed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Kia's seven-year factory warranty belongs to the car, not the owner, so a young Ceed may still carry part of it. Check the date of first registration and that services followed Kia's schedule.

Question 2

What is the difference between the Kia Ceed Sportswagon and the ProCeed?

Accepted Answer

The Sportswagon is a conventional estate with the larger load space. The ProCeed, from 2019, is a lower shooting brake with a sloping tailgate, sold in GT-Line and GT versions.

Question 3

Which gearbox does the Kia Ceed have?

Accepted Answer

Most Ceeds are manual. The automatics are mainly the seven-speed dual-clutch DCT, paired with the turbo petrols and diesels, while the plug-in hybrid uses a six-speed dual-clutch.

Question 4

Accepted Answer

A 1.6 T-GDi turbo petrol with 204 hp, in the hatchback and, from 2019, the ProCeed. The second generation also offered the GT as a three-door pro_cee'd.
