Which Jaguar petrol engine is the best buy?

The 2.0 four-cylinder is the most common and the most economical. The six-cylinders are a good middle ground for more power, while the 5.0 V8 is for buyers who value its sound over running costs.

Does a Jaguar V8 cost much more in car tax in Switzerland?

That depends on the canton: where the tax follows engine size or power, a 5.0 V8 pays far more than a 2.0. Check the rule of your own canton of residence before buying, as the seller's does not apply.

Is the four-cylinder Jaguar F-Type worth buying?

The four-cylinder F-Type, added in 2017, is lighter at the front and cheaper to run, but lacks the sound of the V6 and V8. Buyers after the classic F-Type character usually choose a six or eight.
