Question 1

What should I check on a used Ford Kuga plug-in hybrid?

Accepted Answer

That the 2020 recall was carried out: early Kuga plug-ins had their battery packs replaced after cases of overheating. Ask how the car was charged, since a plug-in rarely plugged in runs mostly on petrol.

Question 2

Is the Ford Mondeo Hybrid a plug-in?

Question 3

Is the Ford Puma EcoBoost Hybrid a real hybrid?

Accepted Answer

It is a mild hybrid: a 48-volt starter-generator assists the 1.0 EcoBoost engine and recovers energy when braking, but the car cannot drive on electricity alone.
