Question 1

Which electric cars has Ford made?

Accepted Answer

The Mustang Mach-E arrived in 2021, and the Explorer and Capri in 2024, both on Volkswagen's MEB platform. The Puma Gen-E and the E-Tourneo Courier followed; the older Focus Electric is rare.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accepted Answer

The battery's state of health, whether it has the Standard or Extended Range battery, and that recall work was done, including the 2022 fix for the high-voltage battery contactors. A weak 12-volt battery can also trigger warnings.

Question 3

How long is the battery warranty on a Ford electric car?

Accepted Answer

Ford covers the high-voltage battery for eight years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first, so a young used car keeps much of it. Ask for a battery health report before buying.

Question 4

Which new Ford electric cars are sold in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The Puma Gen-E, the E-Tourneo Courier, the Explorer, the Capri and the Mustang Mach-E, all with a single-speed automatic. Each version appears at its list price beside the used cars.
