Question 1

Is a used Dacia Duster 4x4 good in the snow?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with winter tyres the Duster 4x4 copes well with snowy Swiss roads, helped by its ground clearance and selectable all-wheel drive. On a used one, check the underbody for damage from rough tracks.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Dacia?

Accepted Answer

Rust on older cars, around the wheel arches and underbody where road salt collects, and a complete service history. The early 1.2 TCe 125 petrol engine in the Duster is known for oil consumption.

Question 3

Is the Dacia Spring a good used electric car?

Accepted Answer

It is a small, light electric car for town and short commutes, with a modest battery. DC fast charging was optional on early cars, so check whether the one you view has it.

Question 4

Which models make up the new Dacia range in Switzerland?

Accepted Answer

The Sandero and Sandero Stepway, the Jogger, the Duster and Bigster SUVs and the electric Spring. Engines are TCe petrol with a manual gearbox, the automatic Hybrid 155 and, on the Duster and Bigster, the Hybrid 150 4x4.
