Question 1

Does the Citroen C5 Aircross have all-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

No, every C5 Aircross drives its front wheels. Some first-generation versions add Grip Control with hill descent assist for snow and mud, so good winter tyres matter on mountain roads.

Question 2

What should I check on a used Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid 225?

Accepted Answer

Whether it was charged regularly and what state of health a Citroen garage reads for the battery. Also check that the automatic shifts smoothly and the charging cable comes with the car.

Question 3

Is the 1.2 PureTech in the Citroen C5 Aircross reliable?

Accepted Answer

The 130 hp 1.2 PureTech has a timing belt running in oil that can wear early, so ask for proof it was checked or replaced. The 1.5 BlueHDi diesel is the robust choice for long distances.

Question 4
